TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Due to the nature of woodworking we want to ensure everyone receives the items they want as they want them.  For that reason we have a few terms and conditions that apply.

CUSTOM MADE POLICY:

All furniture and wood products are custom-made in the order in which the deposit is received.  While we strive to use the highest quality wood and products on the market, we cannot control the natural elements of the products.  That means that we are working with various species of wood and the wood grains may be slightly different from those pictured on our website.

DEPOSITS:

All custom orders require 50% nonrefundable deposit at the time your order is placed.  No custom orders will be started until deposits have been paid and project design agreement signed.  Please note project build order is determined by the order in which your deposit is received.  Delays in paying your deposit can affect our timeline for completion.

CHANGE POLICY:

All custom orders require a sign-off on the design, price, and terms/conditions as discussed before beginning the project.  Once a custom order has been started any changes, additions, or adjustments requested to the design and/or finishing (I.e. paint, stain, oil, etc.) may result in additional fees and time to complete the project.  We will discuss all additional fees and a new timeline before making any changes and a revised order form will be required for signature.  We are happy to accommodate and make changes, as this custom piece is made uniquely just for you!

TIMELINE FOR COMPLETION:

Custom pieces take time.  We will coordinate with you and work hard to complete all projects promptly.  Once your order is placed an estimated time for completion will be provided.  Please note that we cannot guarantee to have an order completed by a certain date, but will work hard to do so.  If at any time during the project you request to make changes to the design or finishing, additional time may be added to your original project time.

PRIVACY POLICY:

All personal information you provide to With the Grain-NC  will not be used or sold to any third party.  With the Grain-NC may send you emails or mailers periodically to keep you up to date on upcoming events and promotions.

RETURN POLICY:

All orders are custom made, so all sales are final.  However, if there is a problem with your product please contact us within 7 days of purchase to discuss.  We strive for exceptional customer service and quality products.  If you have a question or concern please ask.

HOW TO OBTAIN YOUR CUSTOM PIECE:

We have two options for obtaining your custom piece.  Delivery and pickup.

  • Delivery 

    • Local Delivery - We are happy to deliver small items (fit in the bed of a truck) locally, free of charge, within a 15-mile radius of our shop.

    • Non-local/Large item Delivery - All delivery costs are based on location, size of the product/piece, and mileage.  Just as your piece is unique, so is the delivery charge associated with it and will be included in your upfront estimate.  Please let us know if you have any questions regarding this policy.

  • Pickup

    • You are always welcome to come to the shop to pick up your piece.  Please note that once the piece leaves the shop we are not liable for any damages to the piece(s).  Please be sure to bring the necessary items to ensure your piece makes it safely to its new home.

 

INSTALLATION:

At this time we DO NOT perform any installation services.  We are happy to deliver and unload your custom piece to the first-floor room you request.  However, the Client is responsible for installing any wall-anchored items as necessary.

 

LIABILITY:

With the Grain-NC is not responsible to clients or any third party for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from, or in any way attributed to the operation of, use of, or any failure of the purchased items.

 

SALES TAX:

Please note that local charges (sales tax) may occur.  These charges are at the customer's own expense.

 

PAYMENTS ACCEPTED:

All payments will be processed through Square, Venmo, Check or Cash.
